Shon Duty, President & CEO
Shon has served in the United States Armed Forces, has been married 25 years, has two daughters and brings with him over 22 years experience in sales management and business administration. Shon has an incomparable and solid history of success in the automobile industry, insurance industry and for the last 5 years in the scrap & recycling industry. While managing the sales force for a large scrap & recycling software company, Shon has been on-site at over 275 yards installing software and training owners and employees. He has seen and heard the frustration they experience with the software and customer service available. And, he still believes that customer satisfaction is the key to any successful company. Therefore, he has joined forces with the rest of the ScrapRight staff to create a customer oriented and customer driven software company that operates on the notion that honesty and integrity are still what make a company great.
Brandon Burkett, Tech Support & Customer Relations Specialist
With the rapid growth of the company, ScrapRight is elated to have been able to bring in the customer relations and technical support talent of Brandon Burkett. Brandon is ScrapRight’s technical support representative, taking frontline calls, emails and other correspondence for all customers. Armed with a bevy of IT and communication skills, Brandon assists clients in diagnosing and correcting issues and inquiries quickly and patiently.

Neil Smith, Sales and Tech Support
Neil is a high energy, enthusiastic individual who thrives on integrating a personal touch into the world of professionalism, which at times can be void of any personality. Husband to his beautiful bride of 10 years, and father of two brilliant children, Neil has prided himself in the fragile balance between work and home. With a hodgepodge of work experience tucked neatly in his belt, he offers skills derived anywhere from retail management, to banking, to construction/supplies, and a few unmentionables in between. Neil has also held an occupation of Youth Pastor; this has served to enhance a deeper appreciation for the individual, which he has carried over into the business realm. Neil strives to embody the motto: “The best leader is a servant leader.” With that, you can count on Neil to deliver the highest quality of service to each individual need.
Nick & Hardi, Senior Program Developers
Our developers are Microsoft Certified with over ten years of real world experience developing enterprise level applications spanning multiple industries. With a core focus on proven industry standard technologies such as ASP.Net and SQL, they utilize new and innovative technologies such as JQuery and AJAX to provide end users with a rich client experience. They possess a deep knowledge of programming to streamline and reduce redundancy in processes and effectively increase the bottom line. As members of the ScrapRight software development team, our programmers are committed to providing a solid yet innovative architecture which is scalable in both breadth and depth.
Derek Paulo, Director of Design & Development
DP is an Industrial & Manufacturing Engineer with 10+ years experience specializing in process optimization, cost reduction and efficiency. He has helped several companies save millions by streamlining and eliminating non-value added processes in their product lines, facility layouts, workflows, and softwares. With over 5 years in the Scrap Industry, he has trained staff and installed software applications all over the Western US & Hawaii. Derek heads up product design and development, customer support, the company websites, and branding & marketing for ScrapRight Software.
